Sensory Tent Australia

At Dzign Solutions, we offer a selection of sensory tents—including blackout and bed tents—designed to provide a calming, enclosed space for individuals with sensory sensitivities or autism. These supports can help reduce sensory overload and improve rest, emotional regulation, and focus.

Important NDIS Information:

• Funding eligibility: Sensory tents may be funded under the NDIS as low-cost Assistive Technology (AT) where they are considered reasonable and necessary and directly relate to a participant’s disability. This is more likely if the item helps manage sensory processing challenges, supports emotional regulation, or improves sleep quality.

• Professional recommendation: A letter or assessment from a qualified occupational therapist (OT), psychologist, or other allied health professional may be needed to justify the item’s purpose and benefit.

• Disclaimer: Sensory tents are not automatically covered by the NDIS. Funding is assessed based on the participant’s needs and plan goals. Please consult your plan manager, support coordinator, and/or NDIS planner before purchasing.
